Commentary on Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta (Gita) BG: 12.3 & 4
Shree Krishna emphasizes that while worship of His personal form is praised, it doesn’t diminish the value of worshipping the formless. Those who dedicate themselves to the all-pervading, indefinable, unmanifest, inconceivable, immovable, and eternal Brahman also attain God.
Considering the diverse nature of living beings, God manifests in infinite ways. To aid our understanding, these manifestations are categorized into Brahman, Paramātmā, and Bhagavān. One can worship any of these manifestations, but it’s crucial not to claim exclusivity or reject others’ beliefs.
In verse 4.11, Shree Krishna assures that those who surrender to Him, regardless of their form of worship, find reciprocation. Even worshippers of the formless reach Him, as He accommodates their preference for the attributeless manifestation of the Supreme Absolute Truth, meeting them as the unmanifest, all-pervading Brahman.
