Despite our intentions, we often get absorbed in daily tasks, causing God to slip from our thoughts. So, what’s the solution for those who struggle to remember God throughout the day? Shree Krishna addresses this in the verse.
For those finding it challenging to remember God constantly, the focus should shift to working for Him. Regardless of the task, they should cultivate the mindset that they’re doing it for God’s pleasure. In family life, where much time goes into upkeep, one can maintain the same tasks but change their inner intention. Rather than driven by attachment, one should see family members as God’s children, fulfilling responsibilities for His satisfaction. Similarly, daily activities like eating and sleeping remain essential, but with a divine outlook focused on serving God through maintaining a healthy body.
By practicing work for God’s pleasure, selfish tendencies diminish, paving the way for more devotional actions. Eventually, with all deeds performed solely for the satisfaction of Lord Krishna, the mind stabilizes, leading to consistent focus on Him. Gradually, love for God blossoms within, ensuring success in constant remembrance.
